ANTHONY RAY

Anthony Ray is probably best known for participating in the BBC’s hit show Interior Design Masters where he reached the quarter finals and wowed the judges with his creative vision, captivating viewers with his warm and approachable style.

 

With a background in musical theatre and a passion for performance, Anthony has always been artistic and after many years treading the boards, in 2020 he shifted focus whilst renovating his home from top to bottom, juggling this huge project alongside adopting a child with his partner, Ben. With a long-held passion for design, interiors and DIY and following in his tradesman Dad’s footsteps, Anthony decided to pursue a career in interior design and property development and hasn’t looked back since.

 

With new found confidence following the successful self-reno of his own home, Anthony established his design consultancy, Anthony Ray Design, offering his skills and services to clients across the country. Anthony’s ethos infuses an aesthetic steeped in luxury, his sharp eye for detail, but most importantly provides clients with a service that can be delivered on a variety of budgets. At the design consultancy, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword - it’s a passion and Anthony’s talent for creating bespoke pieces and upcycling furniture ensure his designs contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally conscious world. He has consulted and provided bespoke styling and transformations for an array of brands and property developers too and was invited by the Brit Awards to oversee and consult on their backstage and artist dressing room offering.

 

Passionate about making interior design accessible and affordable for all, Anthony is on a mission to prove that you can create beautiful, sophisticated spaces without the extravagant price tag, whether you’re renting or looking to get that first step on the property ladder. As a proud working-class northerner, Anthony loves to feature high street dupes and clever hacks as part of a design aesthetic where affordability meets creativity, with a focus on sustainability and upcycling.
